Our Philosophy in Sports:

 §    Participation
 §
    Skill Development
 §
    Having Fun

Trustworthiness

  •  Coaches are committed to each child’s personal
growth as an individual and as  teammates through
     winning and losing.

  •  We trust in you the same loyalty to the team. Assist the coach in helping each child grow into a great athlete and individual by reinforcing the coach’s lessons at home.

  •  We trust each individual and parent is committed to giving full effort
    and participation to his/her team.

Respect

  •  Coaches respect each player as a unique individual - capable of making a
     positive contribution to the team.

  •  Each player possess strengths and weaknesses that make him or her unique.

  •  Coach’s time and effort.

  •  Opponents, teammates, parents, and the sport.

  •  Coach’s decisions. Do not coach from the sidelines during games or practices.

  •  Referees decisions and judgment during games.

Responsibility

  •  Each player and parent to show up to practices and games on time and  dressed properly.

  •  Pick up athlete on time after games or practice.

  •  Concerns or questions - meet with coach in private, not during a game or practice.

Fairness

  •  Each player should play hard and fair within the rules or guidelines in order to obtain the
highest level of success with honor.

  •  Playing time will be evaluated fairly on the traits of effort, commitment, and attitude.

Caring

  •  Coaches care about each child’s experience in youth sports and want to make it a positive one.

  •  Coaches care about your child as an individual first and an
athlete second.  Encourage and support each child in good
     and trying times.

Citizenship

  •  Exhibit great character to the other communities by setting a good example of good sportsmanship and community loyalty.

  •  Cheer appropriately for both teams. Do not openly criticize
     players, coaches, or referees.

  •  Spectators must sit on the bleachers, on the opposite sideline of the team benches.
