The Itasca CHARACTER COUNTS! Coalition is pleased to announce the 2006 “Show
Your Good Character” Award. This annual award is given to Itasca residents,
businesspersons, or businesses
that exemplify one of the six pillars of good
character: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility,
fairness, caring, and
citizenship. Up to five awards will be given at an October 2006 Village Board
meeting. Award recipients will be given a plaque honoring his or her
accomplishments.
The Show Your Good Character Award is a product of the Coalition’s effort to
recognize individuals
that have implemented the framework as part of his or her
life. Recognition Committee members
are Maureen McDonald, Chris Carling , Betsy
Adamowski.
Nomination forms are available online and throughout places of business in town.
